Which version of OSX runs on regular PCs?

It's blocked by some Apple hardware.
They want to sell Apple machines, which may not otherwise sell too well.

There are hacked versions which install on specific generic pc hardware, ie hackintosh computers. Those are only available as illegal downloads. I guess to be really nice an enthusiast could buy Leopard and then use one of those versions on a non-enterprise personal hobby machine.

If you have a Gigabyte motherboard you can install these versions mostly problem free
