OK, so...
I went and ran a metric fsck tonne of heroix last night to get in touch with my inner Survival Hunter. I can report that it is indeed loads of fun ^_^
Some findings just off the top of my head:
- The burst is just insane, you crit as if you didn't know anything else; much <3
- Aggro theft is definitely something to watch out for now. As Pornolio said: L2FDMoar!
- Getting the LnL buff doesn't reset the current CD of your ES, so if you just fired an ES and get LnL you're going to have to wait 6secs until you can fire a new ES and the 2 freebies. The LnL buff last 12secs so don't stress you won't miss out on it.
- Trap Dancing is gonna take a while to get used to. Freezing Arrow does work but not always so sometimes running in to place that Immolate Trap is a good idea... Just be careful of those retarded bosses that have funny abilities that could b1tchsl4p you into next week's raid >_>
- Create a macro for Wyvern Sting; it's your new Intimidation. This puppy will help you save those silly clothies that get themselves into trouble. I recommend something along these lines:
/cast Wyvern Sting
/stopattack
/stopcasting
You can also make it into a mouseover macro if you want which would make the /stopXXX redundant as long as you're not targeting the mob in question in the first place =P
I'll be running Naxx.25 tonight and actually looking forward to it with this new spec. It'll be good to be on top of the meters again and using new toys =D
