London - Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has been voted the world's ugliest footballer.

Rooney - often compared to movie ogre Shrek - beat Barcelona's buck-toothed Brazilian Ronaldinho and teammate Carlos Tevez.

According to The Sun website, of the women polled by www.thepeoplesclub.com, 33% picked the England star.

But a fifth of girls said they would go out with an ugly footballer just for their money.

9 and 10 I wouldnt say they ugly, not that I look at guys, but they look normal right?
