Nkosi Sikelel i-Afrika means 'god bless Africa' . Any African country that wants to use it can do so with pride...and they have...So we have a anthem that is used by other countries

and you dont even have your own anthem... the nkozi k@k song is a slap stick thing that they did not even write their own melody for it ... they copied it from a song " the name skipped my mind" maybe because that song is just as bad as this makeshift thing you stand for ...
Kinda reminds me of when i was 9 years old, arguing with my brother about which one of us my mother loved the most.
Clearly we're dealing with a bunch of overgrown little boys here.

lol I was looking for a means to enter into this argument. And watching you resort to an attack of character instead of something fundamental, is cute. I guess that's the easiest way for you to throw your toys out the cot.
Racism is something that will always be there and is instinctive. Racism is natural, it's how you deal with it that's the problem and so far everyone's been dealing with it the wrong way (oh boy am I one to talk.)
Transvaal is and always will be Transvaal, goodness knows why they decided to change it to... whatever. I'm surprised no one's decided to rewrite the dictionaries yet because of all the "white words" in it.
I'm sorry, but I find this entire argument ridiculous, granted it started about the flag, which is obviously a sensitive subject for a number of people, but now it's become a full-on racial spat.
Me? I have no problems with anyone except for rapists and murderers who I believe should get the death penalty without a doubt. I'm a firm believer in letting people do whatever they want and live however they want.
Skin colour doesn't matter, as long as everyone goes about their own business then there shouldn't be a problem.
The only problem I have, is when people that can't for the life of them do a job, get that job, when there are people that can barely speak a word of English/Afrikaans, giving the English/Afrikaans news (including the white reporters, so calm your nerves before your hurt yourselves).
The only reason why there are major racial issues is because there is no degree of "equality" in this country. For the last 20-odd years at least, preference has been given to one race or the other.
What about the Japanese/Chinese people in this country? They're probably looking on going "Oooh boy, what the hell are we doing here" ...
For the love of whatever it is you believe in, just accept the differences and move on. No use getting riled up about something that will only get worse if everyone keeps bickering about nonsense.
Just treat everyone with respect and dignity, and that's all anyone can ask for, black or white. And respect each other's choices, cultural differences and the way each other lives. If some old guy that fought in a war wants to reminisce about his life back then, let him salute the flag he faught under.
If some other old guy wants to salute the new flag that he worked and faught so hard to bring about during apartheid, then that is his right too.
At the moment everyone is acting like animals, and that is unacceptable. There is no respect and dignity in fighting like a pack of dogs over a chicken head.
