Outdoor IP camera Advice

OK so bang for buck.

Ubiquti - R1000 (No IR, Bad interoperability with other software / Good Motion, comes with POE with injector, cool software , cool Price )

Hikvision -1.3 MP - R2000 ( Good compatibility , 30m Night vision, Motion detection,POE af)

Avtech - 1.3 MP - R2500 (Bad Compatibility, 35m Night vision,Motion detection,POE af, Cool integration with alarm devices)

VivoTek - 1 M (VI-IP8332) R3220 (30m Night vision bunch of extras high end Brand)

Where are you getting the price for the Hikvision from?

If you are still interested in the Vivotek Cameras, we do stock them at some good pricing you can check out our online store, cctvstore.co.za

Vivotek has Digital I/O ports on most of there outdoor devices so you can control gate open and close functions aswell as other things, pretty cool cameras that why we decided to stock them, i know miro also stocks them but im pretty sure you can get them cheaper from us ;)

We dont stock Axis but there are also a good brand to go for but they are quiet pricey

Thanks Tristen.
Had a look at the site seems pretty cool.
I haven't made my decision yet, Had some issues with cash flow.
Going to Oktoberfest with the declining Rand/Euro sux.
Thanks BDT for the info, appreciate it.
Think I am going to go with the ubiquiti first and then the Vivotek later.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for wireless IP camera's or Where I could get them from?

I grabbed 2x Tenvis IP391W HD 720P Outdoor Wireless IP Cameras for my place from this seller (foscam-reseller) - haven't had the time to hook them up yet, but tested them and the quality seemed good based on what I saw - boiled down to cost vs quality for me. Ended up paying GBP 170.00 (approx. R2670 late June 2013) for both incl. postage.
Will be putting them up in the next 2 weeks hopefully.
