Over 800 million devices run Windows 10

Microsoft has stated that over 800 million devices are running Windows 10 today.

Microsoft executive Yusuf Mehdi tweeted the news on Thursday, thanking customers for helping the company to achieve this goal.

It will be more over the time, but it doesn't mean Windows 10 is getting any better, rather opposite.

With the MS drive to rule the computer world and forced updates from Windows 7, this means Microsoft effectively has taken over the desktop (just about). Hardware manufacturers no longer cater for lower versions so you are forced to install Windows 10. This is a milestone in market manipulation not market penetration.

Manipulation - more like outright abuse, specifically regarding the spyware included.
