Not so sure - the inside layer is usually rougher than the outer one, maybe that has a feel / look / use influence?
 
Its over...then fold it back neatly....
Make it nice and pwitty for your guests when they come to your house to crap....

Why not, one month your preference, next roll other way around and so on - rinse and repeat till you understand there are people who don't even have running water.

True. Back in the day i used to grip the magazines they leave out at waiting areas. Tear a page, then crumble it 1000's of times until its soft like a cloth.

I like to mess people around. I swop the roll around from over to under and vice versa for fun.

My mom has this thing about toilet rolls. She is forever loading a full roll. Not sure where all the not full rolls go.
