Are those OTC though? My gf uses Alieve when she has pains. It's rather powerful.
She gave me one once when I had back pain - knocked me out.
COme to think of it Genpain might not be entire OTC either. Not sure.
There we go. Knew it was some dodgy spelling.*Gen Payne
Yep. Which is why I don't like it. Unfortunately I recently found out that aspirin & ibuprofen clashes with something else I'm taking.I would recommend not doing too much Paracetamol, it causes liver damage in high doses or over long periods of time.
Yeah. Thats why I'm guessing GenPayne is prob the strongest.Codeine is an opiod class drug, which means it's quite effective but also addictive unfortunately. However used responsibly you should be fine.

I am asking because I have persistent backpain and have not gotten around to making an appointment with a doctor yet; it started a few months after my daughter was born a year ago and it is likely caused by having to bend over so much in tending to the little one - picking her up, changing diapers, etc.
You need more of an painkiller / anti-inlammatory, typically containing ibuprofen. OTC examples are Motrin and Advil.
Agree with you - OTC is a short term solution. If it persists a visit to the doctor is essential.Eish. Back-pain is no fun. Just be careful though...painkillers don't work as well for backpain as they do for other things so its tempting to chow lots of them.![]()
Genpain is a Myprodol generic and it's OTC.
