get yourself a back brace or something. it's better than painkillers. and it will probably help better as well.

Myprodal should be enough. It won't relieve the pain completely but should help you get by until the doc can have a look.

I've used mybulen a few times and found them to be very potent.

Have used Mybulen before, if I remember correctly it was prescription only, is this still the case ?

Not that I'm aware of, it was available over the counter last I checked.

Sometimes they choose to put stuff behind the counter just so that it's on request, rather than grabbed off the shelf.

Exactly that, just picked some up from Dischem over the counter. It is schedule 2.

I am asking because I have persistent backpain and have not gotten around to making an appointment with a doctor yet; it started a few months after my daughter was born a year ago and it is likely caused by having to bend over so much in tending to the little one - picking her up, changing diapers, etc.

My dad uses dicloflam a generic of cataflam. It's only thing he took as he had back and hip pain.

When I had a herniated disc, codeine and ibuprofen did almost nothing, but diclofenac/cataflam relieved most of the pain. Brilliant stuff but it is very harsh on your kidneys.

Are they all pretty much the same strength or do they vary ?

They vary.

Like Grandpa and Compral. 2 Different things. One has majority Paracetamol and one has more Aspirien.

Then Lenapain has Codeine phosphate but has majority Paracetamol.

Can confirm not all work the same.

I have migranes every day and nothing beats Aspirin for myself.
Thus no Grandpa on my person. But I do have other pills on me
