Come join the overclocking goodness over at SA's #1 enthusiast site.
It's nothing hectic people, as the name says its OCL 3600 meaning that no computer at insane high speeds are allowed.

Rules are simple really, use a single graphics card and your CPU (quad or whatever) must be operating at less than 3.6GHz. You get to go 5Mhz extra for good measure but that's it, so you don't need water cooling and what not. Everything is welcome from Athlon64 754 to the latest stuff...

Overall leader is determined by the number of benchmark results submitted and the scores themselves, so everyone has a chance of sorts :)

We may even get the listings published in a local magazine monthly for your national fame :)

Come now, its for all to enter... No funny volt mods, computers in freezers and what not, just getting the best from a sub-insane clock speed :)

we can all be famous :D

I am getting a E2180 soon just need a Good Heatsink [Zalman] and will start to OC :D although, I must say I am not pushing for 3.Ghz+ I'll stop at 2.6/2.8... I like to be safe!!

My E6300 1.86Ghz is overclocked to 3.22Ghz, using only a Zalman CPU fan.

My GFX is overclocked to 640Mhz.

Does this make me cool?

it certainly doesn't make you any worse or better off than you are now.
Give it a bash you just might like it.

Hey guys im quite a n00b when its comes to overclocking but how do you overclock your parts? do you use software?

Radikill you can use software if you want, but Bios is always best. Give system specs and maybe I can help ;)

Just in case you forgot about this, here I am reminding you to enter.
There are prizes to be won every single month, from motherboards to graphics cards, power supplies and all sorts of goodies...

GA-X48T-DQ6 and 8800GT Special Edition cards were won already by I3az1k in a similar competition...

Come people get clocking and get winning :)
