Overclocking the Q6600

Would I be able to reach 3GHz per core on stock cooling without any issues (in a well ventilated case, 80mm fans at the front, back and on the side)? Or is that a bit optimistic?

Well, I've got an Asus Striker Extreme to use with my Q6600 so I'm fairly confident it'll overclock well

Stock cooling will be fine. Those cpu's don't run too hot.
