pretty much as the title say. its gonna cost $15/90 days... anyone know of a different free proxy service :D? and anyone know when its gonna stop being free?
 
would that it would be so, but earn what I earn, and the lack of a bank account because Im waiting for my ****ing id (3months, thanks home affairs) so that I can open a bank account.... this is cape town, where everything costs double, but you earn half
 
I just host my own server in europe and bounce through using SSH and proxifier. But that's probably more expensive than Battleping - however, all my friends also bounce through my box, so, it's not that bad.

If you're not paying for something, you're the product. Only when you pay do you become the client.
 
il pay for a proxy, mut meh no credit card, if someone will let me hop on there proxy, i can eft there money monthly or something, need be as good as battleping, 300ms or less :)
 
I tried WTFast, but the ping performance of Battleping is about 20-40ms better. Seems I'll have to fork out some dosh...at least it does what you pay for.

I find battleping a little inconsistent tbh. Some days it's brilliant & I'm getting 250-270ms pings, other days (like today) I'm getting 450-600ms with it. And then sometimes it decides it's not going to let me log into WoW for a while & I have to disable it and then just try running it again later to see if it's stopped sulking yet.

But overall I'm quite happy with it, & it certainly beats playing withough. So long as they can provide me with consistent results I'll be happy to pay R100/3 months for it.
 
Funny thing happened yesterday. I fiddled a bit with settings and got my wow to log in without any tunneling proggies like battleping. I right clicked wow.exe and ran it as admin. Logged in and my ping was 320ms. Played a bit, then logged out. Wanted to play a bit later only to find that it doesn't work anymore. I can only get in while Battleping is running again. Really frustrating.
 
Buy a WA account and problem solve :P I play with a WA account on EU servers with 190 to 250ms without proxy services.
