There is an owl in my garden this morning. What a beautiful and unexpected sight. Hopefully my cat is big enough not to become breakfast. She is in the garden, busy with her toilet duties.

About 4/5kg. Don't think the owl will do anything except check her out.

Maybe it's the owl who should be worried. 4/5 kg is a fairly large cat

Thats one cool owl to have in ones backyard.

A cat of 5kg won't be agile enough to do anything to an owl.

I'm in Cape Town & what a beautifull day it is in the Mother City. 
I'm more worried about my cat.
The owl flew off . Should've seen the other birds in the hood scatter. What a sight.

You should be. If your cat is a bit lighter than the owl might just see it as chinese take away.
Of course cats (being predators too) can defended themselves somewhat (if grabbed by an owl a cat can twist around and sink its claws into the owl) so it won't exactly be a drive-through for the owl to get its supper.
But then again ... when last did you try and catch a chicken? If you try and grab hold of it by it's body, it's almost impossible. Feathers are a remarkably good body armour.

You can merely see an owl that that goes to garden a garden this time. It might be that the owl loves the way you design your garden that it stops for awhile. If ever the owl stops in your garden again, why don't you be a friend of it?. This is just a suggestion..Just wanna be a friend. Is it okey?
