Does anyone know when the Sony Ericsson P1i will be available? According to the SE website, the phone is now available in South Africa. So does anyone know when to expect it from our Network Providers?

You off track if you think anyone bought anyone regarding Sony and Ericsson. Thats a merger not an take over. Sony still its own company and Ericsson still are the best network company, hence Nokio and Siemens trying to gain ground on them.

Yip they a re 6years old with alot of backing from both sides. But they on their own in everyway, they pay Sony for using the names and logos of walkman and cybershot.
