P2350 vs P2350G

Strange, from what I noticed the P2350G received a recent ±R500 price cut. It is now the same price as the 2333SW.

G = glossy.

From the distributors it seems the P2350G is actually less than the P2350.

Even the sales people I've spoken to seem to be well confused about these 2 monitors and have gone as far as to indicate that they're being kept in the dark by Samsung about the differences. I do find that a little strange though as, I mean, they have both monitors on hand and could check.

Too much confusion out there about these 2. I'll let it settle and see which one drops out of retail circulation.

The P2370 has now also joined the mix.

Doesn't the 2350 come with a separate power supply? And the G a built in one? That might explain the extra weight. What I don't get is, Sybaritic says both have D-SUB input... I thought both only have DVI???

I wonder if Samsung hire the same marketing guys as Intel!!

A built in power supply? Interesting...

sigh the p2370 falls in my price range which means more confusion :(

The p2370 has a brightness 250cd/m2 while p2350/p2350g has a brightness 300cd/m2

Should this in any way be taken into consideration? (my main concern would be for HD gaming)

Not possible. I tried, I begged, maybe in a couple months it might be possible.

i think the dionwired special (that isnt in cape town:( lol) was just luck. I dont think we can expect that same price anywhere else

I'm getting my screen end of December (+- a week after christmas)

I've got the latest Rectron pricelist if anyone wants to quizz?
