hi,
i can't get P2P working.
My ISP allows it, but i can't connect, no matter what i do.
My firewall settings are ok.

What do i need to do to get it working ??

I tried Kazaa, and various others, but p2p does not connect.

I wouldn't use P2P buddy! Viruses are ABUNDENT when using those things!
Get your stuff either via Torrents or NewsServers or local sites...

Stay away from P2P!!!!

But since you asked, have you checked your router firewall settings etc?
Maybe your PC might be setup nicely, but your router might not be.

using bitdefender. it's great.
thanks for all the opinions/help.

:cool:

Are torrents not equal to P2P? :)

LOL! Anti Virus... now watch him probably use a free one that stops nothing :(

I've occasionally completed a torrent download, only to be informed by AVG Free Edition that one of the downloaded files is a virus. ;)

But yeah, I know what you're saying. Downloading Call_of_duty_4.exe from e.g. eMule is potentially dangerous for a novice PC user. :p

I use ares. Much safer than any other p2p. But ya its easy to use and if you cant forward ports they dont make a big fuss about it like limewire and emule that give you a low ID and stuff like that. They just send more peers to you so it aint making a difference
