Hi guys.
I need to get a new motherboard (will have a Q6600 on it, and yes, I'm going to overclock it.)
Which chipset is best IYO?
And, if possible, could one of you maybe explain what exactly the chipset does, why the G33(eg) is better than the G31 etc etc, and maybe just give some need to know info on chipsets?
As far as I can deduce the G33 is basically the integrated version of the P35???
Oh, I'm also gonna run an 8800gt, if I can still find one by tomorrow(Exam ends), and I don't think I'll ever run SLi. (I'd rather sell the 8800GT and buy a > 2 x 8800GT card in a year...)
And then lastly : I have an Aerocool Zero Degree gaming chassis, and basically everything is mounted upside-down.
Now : I read somewhere that the "heatpipes" doesn't work as well when the mobo is mounted upside down.
This would be a problem since both the Intel-chipset motherboards I'm looking at has got "heatpipe tech" (ASUS P5K and ASUS P5K-V)
