Only thing that might attract people is the qwerty keyboard if you ask me. However, I have the N95 which I think is just awesome.

Touch screen. Nokia just don't have the technology to produce a proper smartphone.

Dude, I owned a P990i and now i have a N95.......there is no comparison between the two. Its like comparing Win95 to Win XP.

Lol @ grew up... it seems like u went a bit backward bru...
More like 3megapixels backward on the camera side, u subtracted GPS from your life and to top it off the P990 looks like a brick :)

Hey guys

Firstly I do agree the Nokia N95 is an awesome phone - it is after a long time that Nokia has come out with a decent phone. I do like the P990i has some excellent features also to note the Nokia N95 is a recent phone and this day an age they will come out with a new model in a few weeks by some other competitor on the market and both these phones will be old. It is all about what you want from a phone and how easy it makes your life......

Years ago I had a Motorola Accompli 008 with a touch screen. Does that make it king?

You're loosing it kingrob. Don't worry, one day SonyEricsson will make something better than the N95. But for now, just accept that the N95 is KING.;):D

Listen to what Caspa said, I mean, he owned a P990i and now have a N95. He's got first hand experience with both phones.

My P990i was stolen, and i wont lie, i loved it to bit's, it worked perfectly for me. But the N95 is way ahead in 1000 diff ways

Guyz... bottom line.. The N95 is more like a toy with alot of bells n whistles, whereas the P990 is a "specialist" touch screen, PDA style handset. Frankly, I think the N95 is for boys.. the men get the king! :p
PS. Don't take it 2 personally tho, that's just my opinion! ;)

Yeah like a Ferrari compared to a golf, a Cadillac compared to a VW Beetle. One is class all over and the other just snazzy-sassy. You need both.

Considering that the P990i was released in June 2006, it's not bad if people still would like to compare it to the N95 - just shows you how far ahead the P990i was of its competition. :)

And today it's still one of the best smartphones money can buy.

No opinion on the phones, but I have to say that I would rather have a beetle over a cadillac. Horrible yank cars those.

Dude, an opinion about a material object is totally different 2 that of a human. So calm down dude ;) No offense intended :D

look at the drastic price drop of N95 overseas and I wonder why.......BTW I don't own any Nokia or SE phone currently.....I use HTC

If a cellphone does not have HSDPA at 3.6 Mbs it is no good. You will not realise this until you have used one at 1.2 Mbs+, and you will cry when the networks are upgraded to 3.6 Mbs from the current 1.8 Mbs.
