PACE 921VNX

What was the issue eventually?

I don't think distance is the issue, i'm less than 4km away.

I spoke to a few of the engineers that are involved with setting up the networks and infrastructure (not tech guys who come out), and you do seem to far to get a stable VDSL connection. They said you would get the best connection at a max of 2km for 20meg, and that decreases to less than 1km for 40... Would be interesting to hear what your final result was.

We Have also a pace PACE 921VNX all the pc's see the wireless connect expect one. I have change the setting and frequency but nothing works, any ideas or tips , the machine has win 7 ultimate

I had a similar issue with mine when I got it. Some devices would not connect when the bandwidth of the WiFi connection was set to 40 MHz. I changed it to 20 MHz and voila, no hassles. I've left it at that as I don't have a large area to cover. It still works well covering about a 20m radius, which is quite large for residential use.

this mofo delivers 2.2MB/s+ for me

i am happy with it

i use it as just the modem though

I got a PACE router from a buddy that had a spare. Bastard thing just kept rebooting itself. Pathetic. Now you cant even find that router on the pace website and pace seems to have been bought out by another company. Nothing online that might indicate how to solve the rebooting issue. So far I have nothing positive to add about PACE routers.

Does the pace 921vnx have IPv6 support? Having no luck finding out online. It refuses to connect to XBOX live at random time, suspect Teredo connectivity is to blame.
