Is anyone else who's with RSAWEB and Frogfoot in the Cape Town area having an issue where a site/page doesn't load (Firefox: "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.") when first visited, but does when reloaded (either immediately or after a few seconds)?

I've been having this problem on and off for months, but it's been particularly bad this last week. I'm not the only one with the issue: I know of two other RSAWEB/Frogfoot clients in my area have been experiencing the same problem.

Not on RSAWEB myself but that sounds like a bad/slow responding DNS to me.
Suggest setting your DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 if it isn’t already and seeing if the issue goes away?

Cloudflare has been having intermittent issues for at least the last week. Cape Town and Durban going down frequently. Most websites including mybb right now is being rerouted to EU while JHB is still up but they probably keeping that just for the very important services like dns.

Morning

I also have this from time to time. This is irritating at most.
This happens on Chrome and Edge. Also went DNS route did not help. Did not reboot router.

See bottom left of screen Establishing secure connection this is were the delay comes from. Any suggestion.
Sorry I'm with MTS.

I've been having the same issues the last month or two on various ISP's, mostly Telkom mobile though, manually setting DNS solved it on all networks I had issues with.

Same suggestion, since Cloudflare seems to be having some issues as mentioned above, I'd probably set DNS to 8.8.8.8 in the mean time, and see if that clears the issue up, since it's intermittent, DNS issues like this often require one to set the DNS and then test for a bit of time to see if this issue really is gone.
If the issue does clear up after setting DNS on a single machine, then you can look at setting it at router/DHCP level down the line so that it takes effect on all devices on the network.

"Establishing secure connection" is very likely to be the same problem and be DNS related :)

I did set DNS on my WAN, lets see what happens.

Many thanks, everyone. I've changed my DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1 on my router and will see how things go over the next few days.

Did change my DNS setting from Auto to manual.
Using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 looks fine so far.
