I am busy trying to decide what to go with for my upgrade..
Due to budget reasons i can go with the following:

Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 and a cheap 9600GT. . .
or
Intel Pentium Dual Core E2220 and a cheap 8800GT. . .

Overclocking is out of the question at the moment due to my motherboard, so my next upgrade will be a Good motherboard, Prob a Gigabyte P35-DS3L/R.
And then i will overclock

I am just worrying about a Bottleneck Situation, both processors are like the same except for Cache, multipliers. I'm not too worried about the Cache because i know it doesn't make a HUGE difference.
The main use of the PC will be for Casual gaming.
Which do you guys think i should go for?

Thanks,
Dave

Only casual gaming? Then the 9600GT should suffice :)

yup 9600gt rather

Ya okay thanks was thing that . . . Will only be on a 19'' so ya, i am sure it will serve me well. Do have have any views on Ino3D as they have an overclocked version for like R1680?

They're probably as good as any, the 9600GT is still a new card :)

Though I still like XFX, but that's just personal preference :D

so you don't think a E4600 will be a bottleneck for it? Well, because im planning to OC to around 3ghz when i get the Mobo but will it run fine at 2.4?:)

It'll be less of a bottleneck than the E2220 for the 8800GT ;)

But it should be quite all right, you should notice some nice speed increases once you overclock it :)

Yup, i plan to OC it as much as i can:cool::p;) Mwahahaha:D
Thanks for the help bro

Um . . Just had a look at My PSU, and its rated at 400W with a 350 peak or something like that.
Question is... The requirements for a 9600GT is 400W and a 12v Rail of 26 Amperes. My PSU says 12v Rail 1 is 16A and 12v Rail 2 is 14A, do the rails add up to give me 30A or is the Maximum 16A then?
Wow i might need a new PSu to run it then?:(
