Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the additional "PGM" buttons 1 or 2, to arm/disarm the 2nd partition?

At the moment both buttons are used to activate a PGM to open/close my garage door.

I have gone through the manual and can;t figure it out?

Thanks,
Greg

You set the PGMS as you want, they are just interrupts. Have you tried looking through babyware?

Cool, thanks. I don't have the IP interface.
Well, going though babyware, you can set the options on the remote so there should be someway to do it via the panel but you would probably need to know the respective code or signal for the one you need. Someone would have to have done it already for you, example my secondaries are for panic: ( arm disarm panic info and a empty ) so someone has already configured the remote for your automatic door OR they had the door motor "listen" for the remote.

You need a Programming manual, then you can do it from the keypad (I'm assuming its a MG5050 panel)

Go to programming: ENTER 0000

First you assign the user to be able to arm and disarm partition 2 (suggest user 4)
Then you assign the remote to that user

For the first task, see page 30: 1694341472045.png

For the second task, see page 34:1694341529590.png

Thanks guys, I'll have a look. I have done quite a lot of programming via the panel.

Hmmm, Doesn't look like it is possible.

If I set my remote (user 4) to both partitions, now the Arm button arms both partitions.

The other buttons, can activate a PGM, but that can just drive a PGM output, based on the button event.

So doesn't seem to be possible...

Yes it is, I tested it myself. Make sure the user is only able to operate partition 2

Would that not change the normal arm/disarm buttons to work with partition 2 only?

I'd like the buttons on the remote to work as follows:
- Arm/Disarm - should arm disarm Partition 1 only
- One of the other buttons (* or **) should be used to arm/disarm Partition 2.

Is that possible?

How can I fix / program Rem2 paradox remote on digiplex EVo with Rtx3 disarm botton not working now it was working before later help please
