Hi all,

I have the latest parallels and I want to use my bootcamp XP partition.

When I boot XP with bootcamp, everything is OK, but if I boot with Parallels XP wants to be reactivated; reactivation however doesn't work cause MS is telling me that my XP has been activated to often.

Any sugesstions?

Andy

Cant say I've had that problem - how many different machines have you loaded XP on to in the past?

I have a genuine copy and it activated without problems in bootcamp.

I only activated it once before on my pc and now I have moved everything to my Imac, the old pc is now an asterisk box .....

Call up M$oft and tell them you're having problems installing it.

I called M$ already, they only told me that they don't support Parallels & IMAC

Dont tell them its for parallels or a mac - tell them its for a generic pc.

Infact - instead of doing the online authentication cant you opt for doing it telephonically?

Andy, you might want to check out http://forum.parallels.com .. there is no link from the Parallels webpage, so mostly people are not aware of it ... there are a couple of tricks/hints/solutions there.

Oh, and welcome to the forum
