Horses often end a run with purple tongues due excessive pulling by riders determined to get their mount to perform to the riders satisfaction. Some Arab horses end up unable to eat after a strenuous session due to injury
 
Keep an eye on Canoe sprint.

They're not really sprinters, more marathon canoe specialists. (Hamish was/is u23 world marathon champion, Andy multiple world marathon champion and 14 time Dusi winner)

But even though they aren't sprinters they've achieved times in their practice and training runs that would have medaled at previous Olympics. So there is a definite medal chance there.
 
Yup I watch all canoeing and rowing anyway. Some of the best events in the Olympics.
 
DStv still hasn't given a proper Olympics schedule which includes what channels are in use..

Footie is on 203 Olympics 1 & 204 Olympics 2
Rugby is on 205 Olympics 3
