Which other Olympic events do we have a chance? The sevens rugby is over and there is no 15 man rugby to be played.

Golf and shot put... but when I say chance I mean I don't know these athletes and anything can happen.

Don't know much about golf and even less about women's golf but there's a lady who played really well.

Very, very slight chance in the men's kayak singles and doubles but they're gonna have to fight. Up against some really strong guys. K2 SF and finals are tomorrow and the K1 Saturday.

And then there's Gerda Steyn. Excellent runner in SA marathons, but then again in SA she's not running against the world's best so I'm not very optimistic. She finished 15th in Tokyo but you never know. Women's marathon Sunday 8am.

Realistically speaking though, i don't think SA can beat Kenya anymore.

We all love Wayde but I am amazed that he made the Olympic team. He is clearly unfit. Almost like you the poster boy of SA Athletics, we take you with as a last goodbye.
 
Anyone discussed that stupid bell that winners ring. Look the idea is great but it looks like some home handyman build the frame and it have this stupid mechanism to ring it and everyone struggle to ring it.
I mean how difficult is it to build a simple pole thingy to hang a bell?

The bell will be part of the Notre-Dame's renovations. It will be permanently hung at the cathedral after the Olympics to replace one of the bells destroyed by the fire.

A simple pole thingy would have fallen over the way some athletes abuse this bell in it's sturdy frame lol.

So, this was the 4x400m relay. Why does ASA think this is a better medal prospect? I don't see it.
