Parliament's digitalisation project failed and irreplaceable documents have likely been destroyed by the fire

No worries people. in 2 years time the camel excrement cANCer will be celebrating 30 years of failure at the tax payers expense.

If volumes are bound, then the binding needs to be carefully removed. When the scan is completed the volume will have to be bound again. How do you go about scanning old volumes with brittle or damaged pages? This is a specialised service that invloves more than just scanning the document.

There are companies in Cape Town that provide a profession digitisation service for a reasonable fee. I'm not sure why they decided to use a company that's based in Pretoria to do the job.
It would be interesting to have more information about this company called i-kno, their website doesn't provide much information.

I must admit, I started reading the article and about a minute in gave up! I can only read so much about total incompetence. Of course, the money has long been paid to someone connected. Probably started the company a few days before being handed the contract. Should the name perhaps have been iKnownot? My fork Marelise...
