Parow Golf Course

Hi

I'm currently looking at staying at the apartments at the Parow Golf Course in Cape Town, Western cape. Is it a safe area to stay in, and is it a better choice to rent or buy there (considering price growth, crime, financials of the body corporate, etc.)

Which ones are you referring to?

The ones in Parow North that are on the opposite side of the railroad to the Parow Golf course? Those aren't too bad.

Or are you referring to Groendakkies (green roofed flats) in which case it's got a terrible reputation and you should stay far far away if at all possible.

No its not safe, and they are not in good condition...

Rather stay at "The Islands" in de tyger...its just up the road and is a gated complex with good facilities i.e braai and pool.

Parow north in general is safe , been staying here for my whole life.
