Parquet Flooring

Hi all,

So I have parquet flooring in my flat - I love it and want to keep it, but I've noticed that the tiles are lifting - 1 here, 1 there, I'm sure it's due to age etc.

What GLUE can I get to stick it down properly.

For those who know - advise me please and also, where in Cape Town I can get it.

Contact adhesive will work well. Apt to both surfaces (floor and tile). Wait until dry to the touch then pop it in and apply a little pressure for about 10 seconds. Done.

Without sounding like an idiot - any specific contact adhesive?

Genkem tends to work well. Apply as described. It has to air dry first.

Play around with the stuff. If you're not careful, you'll end up with a bulge of bitumen that sticks out of the floor, because it gets squeezed up when you push the block in. But if you use it right, that once-loose block will never move again.
