I was driving on MickeyD highway in Port Elizabeth this morning on the left lane behind a car traveling about 100 there were faster cars in the fast lane When there was a good gap I put on the indicator and pass The car who I moved in front of did not slow down at all driving about 10 kilometer faster than myself As he nearly drive into me, he brake hard. I think he was not concentrating He hoot at me drove next to me to I suppose show me some friendly sign. I did not even look at him as I believe he was at fault

I was driving behind an IX35 yesterday. the driver was obviously distracted as he was crawling along at 40km/h. So we approaching a robot and it goes amber and then red. Now the ix35 driver wanted to turn left, so he started making a move to turn left and I could see his indicators on but a van behind me couldn't see what what was transpiring and he tried to overtake on the oncoming lane. Needless to say they missed each other by centimetres...


lesson:
1) Ix35 driver is a dick driver
2) Van driver needs to learn to obey the road rules as he took a big chance trying to beat the red robot.
 
I was driving on the M1 in JHB this morning and was behind a truck doing 60km/h. I waited for a gap and overtook him.
Told all my buddies this story too.

Left.

So he was going across the oncoming lane in which the van was trying to over take. The van nearly nailed the drivers door. Luckily, the accident was avoided.

When you turn left, you don't cross any oncoming lanes, unless you're in a country where they drive on the other side of the road?

huh so these things don't happen to you everyday?
 
In my case I got shown some bad signs if I had shown him some back there would have being another racist incident

So you cant wait for the slow vehicle and move your slow vehicle into a lane in front of a faster approaching vehicle? Were you aware of this faster approaching vehicle when you made your lane change?
 
I was standing in traffic today. Had to stop. Then had to roll forward when it started moving. Didn't look at any of the drivers, so not sure if they showed any signs...
