I found a Ultimate Zip cracker that can brute force a zip file to see the password. I was looking for more password crackers and recovery tools that are freeware and if possible portable

It doesn't say it's supported on Vista or Windows 7, also while I was downloading it my Eset freaked out warning of potentially unwanted software, so best stay away imo.

It's not everyday that Eset warns about software but when it does I tend to heed it's warning.

Any good AV will freak when checking a hack/çrack tool. Best that noobs don't use these tools.

A great site for password recovery tools - www.nirsoft.net.
I use mailpv (mail password viewer) a lot when upgrading pc's as users often do not know their passwords.
It is seen as a hack tool by antivirus, so you have to disable that first.
