Pastel 2004

Hi All

Ive installed Pastel 2004 in a network environment. IE all the workstations will be accessing the companies of the pastel server.Now normally when u install Pastel during the registration it asks if you want to install it as a Local/Server or workstation.Now for some reason Pastel 2004 doesnt ask for this info.How do you point the clients to register with the pastel server ?

Check that you have the right install package?

Map a network drive and change it in the shortcut settings to 'open' from 'the mapped network drive'

If you are running Pastel Partner 2004 still, I don't think it's possible in that old version. IIRC, it was introduced in Partner 2005, where you just registered the server on the internet, and all clients registered with the local server.
