Hi guys,

Just got Pastel - am thinking of running it on a virtual pc (VMWare) and when I go on holiday I just copy the "virtual pc" to my laptop and open it via VMWare.

My Pastel only comes with 1 user - do you think it would pose a problem running it on a virtual pc from different computers, but not at the same time?

Anyone who has experience with Pastel licensing?

It works perfectly. You just need to call Pastel and re-activate the Pastel license

Sorry to hijack this thread, but does anyone know of a good Pastel consulting company that are highly skilled in setting up Pastel for a small/medium sized business?

Preferred Solutions they're a Platinum partner and only do Pastel product consulting and support.

Thanks so much! will give them a call on tuesday! just hope they are reasonable with prices...

Does it mean you have to call Pastel each time you want to use the virtual pc on another computer?
If Activation is similar to Windows Activation, which is based upon the amount of hardware that changes - even in the virtual environment certain parameters are passed from host to VM,like CPU/RAM which dependant on how strict their measures are may deactivate the software. If it isn't that sensitive it should run without even a cough
