Hi

We have a desktop with Windows XP SP3 we use for our file server. (One shared folder with Pastel Partner 2007).

We want to upgrade our PCs and get a new file server but all of them with Windows 7 x64.

Will Partner 2007 work on Windows 7 x64 if I turn off UAC?

Hmmm, if your Pastel is THAT out dated I'd seriously consider upgrading it to the latest version. You'll have endless issues if you don't and it's more trouble than it's worth.

Yip. I also recommend you upgrade. We're running Pastel Partner 11 on Windows Server 2008 x64, with workstations being a mix of XP-32bit, Vista-32bit, 7-32bit and 7-64bit. No compatibility problems at all.

If you really must run Partner 2007, I'd phone Pastel Support and ask for their advice. They're the best people qualified to give you the correct answer.

Partner 2007 does run on x64bit.

We have it installed on Win7 x64 laptops and on our Server 2003 x64bit.
