Patton SmartNode any good?

Hi

I have 2x Patton SmartNode Multi-Port ISDN IAD's (5 BRI lines each)
Are these units any good?
Can they be used with Lync? (what we would like to use at work - if not will have to give Asterisk a try)

New to the world of VOIP and still finding my feet.

The Patton's are a bit of pain to configure, but they do work with Asterisk. We recently had a demo model of a Sangoma Vega BRI pass through here and they were much easier to setup.

In fact all gateways are a pain to config but if you give me the model and can give you a script to upload , then its just a matter of climbing in and changing IP addresses.
