Hi there,
Does anyone know what the charges are if I send money from my AUD Global account to an Australian Commbank account?
*Edit: 0.55% Commission fee (Min R160, Max R650) with an extra R115 admin fee.
When making the payment they ask who is responsible for the fees. It can be either the sender, receiver or split. I choose based on who I'm sending money to.I transferred £ to a couple of Brit brats and got hit with those two fees plus a month later another fee for the same transaction went off my cheque account. This was something the FNB staff couldn't explain but vaguely related to the receiving bank.
Not more than an hour.
Same. Forex payments using the swift payment is almost instant. For it to send to Aus?
depends if not within the hour then by 6am the next day, but it will be at the price you paidHi guys,
Quick question. I transferred from my cheque account to my AUD Global Account today, how long will this take to reflect?
Then, does anyone know how long it will take to send money from my Global Account to Australia?
I've done about 5 payments and they all cleared within a few minutes. They were all uk payments though.I paid money from my Global account to CommBank in Australia. I got the SMS and email to say everything is done and approved but the money doesn’t show in Aus yet. Is this normal? I did it Wednesday morning.

That’s not good news.
I have double checked and all account info was right. FNB does say it will take 1-5 business days but then I have got all the approval messages.
likely that the weekend on both side didn't helpWell still waiting for the funds to show in Australia
Well the money never ever showed, both banks won’t accept responsibility basically so now I need to try for a reversal of the money. Wonder how much that is going to cost.
I use the FNB appI may be completely missing something but for the life of me I cannot see how/where to make payments from the FNB Global account. It doesn't appear for me as an option under payments.
To be clear, I am trying to send from this FNB global account in USD to a bank account in the US. I'm assuming this is not a forex transaction as I had to go through the BoP process when transferring from my normal cheque account to the global account.
From this thread it is obviously possible, but I cannot see where/how this is done.
Thanks for the help in advance!
