Pc BSOD every now and then

People (overclockers?) always say BSOD's are "usually" caused by RAM because (their?) RAM is the item that fails first.

The Windows BSOD always gives the file name of the driver or application that caused the crash.

Wait for the BSOD to appear again and read the screen. (bottom of the page)
a file name and location will be shown plus memory addresses & useless information in a dumpfile (only useful to MS engineers)

The file name will give an indication (application of driver)
Google the "file name + address + error code" and 9 out of 10 times you can resolve the BSOD error without re-installing.

Rubbish you can see the tyre is flat, simply replace it. Very poor car analogy.

When i worked as techie and maybe it was just xp but i spent less time trying to figure out which driver or software was at fault and reloaded, if the error was still there it pointed towards hardware. You can get further faster reloading and trying to identify a problem than if you just sit for hours wondering what driver/software went wrong.

When i get stuck the first thing i do is eliminate all software from equation. Pcmark passes the reload begins.

Not always, if you have checked the hardware and everything seems fine it can be corrupt drivers or software and sometimes even corrupt OS files. If that is the case you could spend hours trying to figure out the source if it is not easily identified. Well that is my experience anyhow.

the weirdest thing is I didn't installed any new apps and now all the sudden BSOD. Can it maybe be nvidia drivers. going to do a full reload on my nvidia drivers. Using driver sweeper and then reload my drivers

Just do a check and unplug your network cable. If it still persists then I don't know.
I had such a mission finding out why I got a BSoD. Turned out to be when my brother opens his macbook and connects to the network I get a BSoD. Weird I know. Still haven't solved the problem but it has become less frequent now that I've rolled back my LAN card drivers to the stock one's.

I did a full driver sweep with drive sweeper and a reinstall on my Nvidia drivers will have to see. It's doing it maybe once every week or 2. I know about the linux issue. Sometimes when you want to browse the linux pc via windows it can make your pc ble screen
