Absolutely, bud :) i5 2500K (2nd gen Core i5 CPU - released in 2011) is still relevant today.

It looks really nice! But, I don't want to spend a lot on the SSD. I have a 1,5TB and a 80GB already. And I need to drop that total to around R7000 or less. My budget was R6500, but I went up to R7000, and it must stay there. :)
 
Just please don't get a 64GB SSD, leave the SSD and save the money until you have enough for the Intel one I linked to.

Then leave the SSD & get one later when you have some more cash.

Steam summer sale should start soon and for R500 under budget you can get a LOT of games on a Steam sale.

I am going to buy the i5-4590 and the PowerColor R9 280X, both on Carbonite.
I sent both users a PM, I am just waiting for their replies.
