Hi
I would like to build a PC but I am unsure which chassis to buy.

I intend using a GigaByte GA-41 DDR3 motherboard, nVidia 8600 graphics card, a sound card (I haven't chosen one yet), Celeron Processor (will upgrade later).

It is a bit crappy but I will upgrade it over time.

I would like to spend R350 and under. The chassis must include a power supply of about 370W or more.

Thanks

Why buy a sound card and a celeron; rather take the money from the sound card and buy an entry level dual core and use the onboard sound? WRT to the case, R350 is about the least you can spend, and should get you something like the one above, although maybe consider spending just a little bit more on the case and buy something that does not cut your hands and fall apart when you kick it....

Hi
I am only using the Celeron proccesor because I already have one but I will definitely change it.

Agree with conradl , you should try and get a decent PSU at least. Onboard sound is very decent these days. But the superchannel I recommended is not bad though, my boet running one now for the last 2 years with quad core etc.. no problems thus far.

Have any of you ever ordered from nivo or Sybaritic?
They have a 450W Superchannel case there.
The same case is also at Sybaritic but the shipping (is said) to be faster at nivo.
What are the shipping costs at Sybaritic and which store would you recommend?

I've ordered tons from Sybaritic... normally they deliver within one day !! Recommend them, but the shipping cost is quite steep (about R90).

Take2 has a flat rate of R30.. Kalahari is free if the order is over R385 I think..

Where abouts are you.. maybe you can just go and collect ?

save up and get a entry level coolermaster or gigabyte case otherwise you will just be upgrading again in a year.
