I am looking to replace my PC chassis with a newer model. Preferably something that is very easy to work in with very good cooling, but also quiet.

What is my options for aircooled and water-cooled systems?

I am quite flexible on the budget. Let's say aircooled @ R2k and anything from there that makes sense on the watercooled side

HAF-X is prob the best case that does both water and air decently. A single triple rad is going to be touch and go (by water cooling standards) if you're cooling CPU+GPU though.

+1 for HAF-X, it's got huge fans instead of "little ones" that whizz loudly..

you cant even hear a HAF-X. pretty big too - 9 PCI Slot support.

THE HAF is basicaly perforated all over - the top, the bottom, the front bays, the back (including the PCI Slot coverings, they have holes too)

R1700.

edit: the top has space for 2 fans, i think they are 200mm or 220mm or something, but you only get one.
take 100 extra bucks and buy a nice Fan for the side, and then take that one and install at the top.

if on bif budget haf-x is the way to go.

small budget get haf-x 912 advanced, ph sells it, about r900, they don't list at advanced but it is :) (s.a only get that one)

i use 912 advanced really nice, can carry it to lan, and great cooling provided by 200mm fans.

Thanks guys, i like this HAF-X. I want to run the machine as cold as I can without a lot of noise, and this seems be good bang for the buck compared to water cooling.

I got the aerocool, loving it

Just be aware, it doesn't actually come shipped with the side fans. Besides, get red fans and lighting, and it's even prettier.

:)
