My PC Clock losses +/- 5 min over a 12 hour period. The following is to noted:-
1) PC is left running and thus not switched off.
2) A brand new Bios Battery (CR 2032) fitted.
3) OS is Win XP with SP3 recently reloaded after formating drive.
4) The OS Time zone is set to correct one (GMT +2.00 Harare, Pretoria).
5) Win XP timer server is only (Time.windows.com) is only checked every 7
days by default.
6) The Bios is the latest version for the DFI Motherboard.
Now to my question. Why is this PC lossing +/- 5Min over 12 hour period?
I thank you in advance for any advice supplied.
