PC Direct: Service with a capitol B

That B is for BRILLIANT

It’s so easy to always complain about bad service, and often people don’t get credit for good service.
I want to sincerely thank Allan Bradbury from PC-Direct for excellent service.

Long story short, ordered a product with VERY limited stock in Western Cape on Wednesday night, and made the payment 19:00 that same evening.

He mailed me Thursday at noon and miraculously got my order in and ready for collection (Didn’t want them couriered)

I picked the order up Friday morning.

Guess what........ Come Friday evening unpack product, excited as hell....Product DEAD:(, not working at all:mad:. Mailed Allan and he told me he will sort it out on Monday, because Saturday 01 May was a public Holiday.

In short: We could not find ANY stock anywhere in the Cape, so I opted for a refund, which was done the moment the paperwork were finalized.
So there you have it. Prompt service and no hassle to get a refund on faulty products.:)

I don't know anything about that, I just commented and the service I received. But the website seems pretty much alive to me, with some pretty good IPad prices. Haven't done any research on pricing though.

If this thread is in the wrong place, Mods feel free to delete or move.

These guys are great, been ordering tons of stuff from them, over 100k worth of stuff and been faultless - they deff do go the extra mile
 
I wish MyBB would start telling us why people got banned. Not the first time that I'm wondering why someone got banned. :confused:
 
At least we'll know why G1mpz gets banned - assuming that he does, not implying in any way that he's a Troll working for PC-Direct or anything. Just saying that if he were to be found out as a troll I would know why he was banned for being a troll.

That troll has to be working for PC-Direct or affiliated with them in some way.
 
No lies here fellas. It's me Allan. Mods (ic and rpm) know wie ek is. Long story short, couldn't Pm a mod without an acc to check if we'd be re-instated :p

The PC Direct nick got 10 infringements on forum rules over a 12 month period, for advertising in wrong sections n stuFf - like saying we can help when someone needed assistance, and we left an email addy.. Oops pm next time.., which mainly happened when we had dealer status ( trigger happy? Yup) hence why we got banned, the system is automated on the 10th warning.. So it auto banned us :( .. Anyways..will prob get rebanned for blowing my cover haha so if this nick does get slammed, adios amigos - yiu know where to find us

/sleeps well with new electric blanket :)

I want to order the new HP ZR24w monitor from Allan, none in the country, so he has to order in . Allan, if it arrives dead,I can also sleep well knowing you'll sort it out for me?

If needs be, u can build a raft and sail to Korea (wherever u getting them from) and fetch me a new one?

Very stupid considering this site is a wealth of pc consumers. Surely it cannot be brain surgery to follow the rules?

Being a (paid) dealer, means you can post in the PC Hardware section, member request forum and dealer forum..

Post accidentally in the wrong forum and boom you're nailed.

Also getting hit with 3 infringments from 3 mods for the same mistake - added to the total.

Oh well. Least we got some good specials out to the MyBB community. ;)

Which reminds me got the last 3 of those promo lenovo's now at the office.. okes know how to get hold of us if anyone wants to secure before they move .

For what its worth, I can also report excellent service from PC Direct.

Ordered my Samsung P410M Projector on Tuesday and collected it from their offices yesterday afternoon and all smooth sailing.

Excellent service from Allan, will certainly do business with them again.

I have no affiliation with PC Direct, just a happy client who believes good service should be applauded.
