you need quite a bit of experience to earn decent tips as a waitron, only places like Spur and Mug&Bean hire begginers, and it depends where you work,at the Marlin in capetown you earn 40 buks a day and they are a damn expensive restuarant(fat tips thou) and at Mug&Bean you get paid monthly commission of something like 6%(if im not mistaken)
