Yes those two item are the only ones that I would "upgrade" in your system. What PSU do you have...?
Mobo= motherboard

Asus mobo and 450 psu not really sure what exactly what name psu

Your mobo normally has a "serial" number eg. that indicates what model it is. Did you build the system or buy it from someone else...? Maybe you received a manual with it(the mobo) which has the model number on it...?

THANKS have to look first bought it but cant remember mobo serial and have to look first sorry thats why i ask because dont know much about hardware and just likes graphic and gaming

Sure bud, just relax you seem a bit tense:p The forumites here are more than willing to help you out. The reason we need to know the model of your motherboard is so that we can see what processors are compatible with it;)

And welcome to the forums:)

looksharp, you have 5GB of memory, but with your existing OS, you will only be able to really "use" 3,2GB.
So perhaps think of shifting to a 64bit OS.

Now looking at your xbox and PS3, they normally run at full HD if I am not mistaken?
That is 1080 lines.

Now your PC screen looks like 19"? The max there should be 1280x1024?
So your PC graphics should be better than on the TV.
Perhaps look at the settings on your games and switch on all the eye candy :)

I'd actually suggest you get a new monitor. While the processor is a bottleneck, it's not so much so. The higher the resolution you play at, the less of a difference processor makes.

I'd suggest a new monitor. The Samsung 2494 or the Samsung T260.

The 2494 has built in speakers and hdmi so you can take it with for your consoles. Much easier to carry around than a lcd tv.
