PC on a HDTV

I've seen cases where Radeon cards will display post only to first DVI output, could be the case.
(Meaning to do install - you'd need a dvi-hdmi or dvi input, to clarify - just in case)

If not, then everyone else' suggestions should cover :)

Thanks luckily I have a DVI - HDMI cable, will give it a shot

Either you are plugging it into the on board HDMI port when it's set to use the dedicated gpu or visa versa.

Very possible, I forgot my board now has a dedicated HDMI port, (Its been a while since I have upgraded), thanks for the idea

My HDMI cable is perfect, same one I use for my other PC [That was connected to my TV] has nice pivoting heads and braided wire covering.

Doesn't mean anything, cheap china cables has braided covering too. I've had a cheap cable work on a pc then not work on a ps3..

I have used no name brand cables without a problem.

Yes you do get lucky, i've have had luck too with no name brands. A powered usb switch also sometimes helps with crap cables. The thing is PnP sells a 1.5m Ellies hdmi cable for R58 and the foreigners sells their no name china crap for R80.

I'm just sayan, if all else fails replace the cable. If you end up being paranoid about cables you could pop down to your closest zakspeed or some place similar and get a high quality one.
