My new PC just arrived,

Booted it up to install windows (attached to my TV with an HDMI cable) and nothing, powers up, no beeps.

Is this the TV or should I start reseating RAM etc, didn't get a chance to tinker with it,

Not sure if TVs work off the bat or you need to install gpu drivers etc first

Graphics card?
Is TV set to HDMI?
Best to first test it on a monitor then switch over to TV.
Does the PC beep once after you switch it on?

He hasnt even got an OS installed on the PC yet CAmiKAze.
Don't need an OS for the boot screen at least to display.

I've set up many PCs on a TV with HDMI or VGA without any issues...

+1 for the above.

- Make sure you have a the post beep speaker connected.
If you bought a new MB, it should have came with one or have one attached to the board.
Do you get one single beep? anything else indicates issues depending on the sequence\duration of the beep.

No, I haven't heard a motherboard from the last decade beep. Manufacturers no longer add the POST speaker.

Haven't built a PC for the past 3 years but then at least they were still providing speakers.
Either way there should be no reason for an image not to be displaying on screen besides faulty hardware or user :P

PC is prebuilt and shipped to me (bought parts and paid for guys to assemble) mostly due to laziness and their kick ass cable management, assuming something just knocked loose in transport, exact same thing happened on my other pc (No post beep) and it ended up being RAM.

Will check it out when im home. Any suggestions welcome and thanks for help so far

Graphics card?
R9 290

Is TV set to HDMI?
Yes [And def works, my old PC works perfectly through tv]

Will try this

Does the PC beep once after you switch it on?
No post beep

Remove the GFX card and try boot from VGA first. Drivers?

If the above doesn't work, send it back?

Nothing at all? Hdd/fans/power indicator, all dead?

Like Pho3nix said, try connecting via VGA first if this is available. At least this will tell you if it is a graphics driver problem or something else.

Another option is to try booting off an Ubuntu live CD. I have done several of these installations on a PC connected to a TV via HDMI and the video has worked fine for booting and installation.

try a d-sub cable first (VGA cable)

oh and make sure your display output is on the correct port in BIOS

I'm going to put my money on a really cheap hdmi cable which you got from who know where.

The lowest quality brand i haven't had issues with is Ellies.

My HDMI cable is perfect, same one I use for my other PC [That was connected to my TV] has nice pivoting heads and braided wire covering.
