PC or Mac?

Local telecommunications and Internet Service Provider executives share their preferences of smartphones and computing platforms more »

These days they're all PCs, so shouldn't the question be Windows or OS X or *NIX?

True what the CEO of IS said - even if you think the product is cool, first see how well it is supported in the real world, before making a career-limiting move.

These days?
Since Apple started using Intel x86 architecture CPUs, Apple Macs can now boot Windows natively and are therefore compatible with the original IBM PC (as much as any other modern Dell/HP/etc).

OS X = Unix (Registered as such as well)
I guess so, so how about "Windows or OS X or GNU/Linux?" then?
(Apologies to the BSD fanbois)

My point is the "Mac or PC" division is so last century.

Yeah, my 13" Macbook Air runs Win7 64 like a champ.

This century is Windows vs *nix since every other major computing product has some form of *nix in it.

A few examples: Android phones, the mede8er, ADSDL routers, most of the servers running the internet, PC's with linux,
Mac OSX, iOS, most of the top 500 supercomputers, Blackberry's QNX, Samsung's Bada
