Hi all

My Pc has an issue,a day ago out of the blue it would not power on I tried everything, checked the plug and changed the plug. I check the psu cables, motherboard 24pin aswell and nothing. I pushed the button like 20times or so then it started. I shut down my pc switched of the psu, turned it on and tried to turn on my pc and the same problem?had to push it 20 times or so. Now it seems to be ok for now.

Also the psu fan is not spinning when I turn on my pc it like hesiitates but doesn’t spin is that an issue or should it spin only when it reaches a high temperature?

I gamed for an hour or so and the fan still didn’t spin so I’m wondering if there is not sufficient power to through to all the components?

Off the topic it could be coincidence but two of my rgb components stopped working about two weeks ago, after a couple of times turning it on and off they worked but then stopped and started like they work when they want to. Could that be related like no power going through the Sata cables?

My psu is the Superflower SF-750F14P(WH) and I’ve had it for 9months.

Any help would be great thank you

I would try definitely but I don’t have another psu. Do you think it could be faulty?

Oh, the psu should have a eco switch which disables the fan at lower temps. Disable the eco mode and see if the fan spins.

It's not impossible.

First try disconnect anything that is not required like hdd, ssd, dvd, led controllers etc and see if it makes a difference.

Also set your bios to factory defaults.

Is the eco switch on the psu on the outside?when I shut down my pc I always push that button it has a 0/I on it. The only thing connected to my pc is my ssd and HDD don’t have an optical drive at all
R53600
Rtx2060super
16gb 3200
B450tomahawk
The only thing different in the Bios besides Default is my ram profile other than that everything is default

Why do you shut down the PC through Windows, then also turn off the entire unit via the power supply 0/I switch at the back (or at the wall outlet) as well?

I have an Ellies high capacity surge protector multi-plug (about R 299 at Hi-Fi Corp) connecting all my electronics (Home Theatre, Smart TV, LTE router & PC) to safeguard them all against power spikes during load-shedding, so I never have the need to entirely turn off the PC as well, using its own 0/I power switch.

Don't know if you got it sorted out in the meantime, but just double check that the power switch hasn't popped out of those little clips that holds it in, it might be sitting too far away for the button to reach.
