The onboard display doesn't work nope... How can I tell? Would a GPU dying cause the KB and mouse to get no power?
I'm also thinking that there is an intermittent short somewhere- perhaps the standoffs are not properly insulated. Could also be dust buildup?
Pooky- if you can, try and blow the inside of your case out with compressed air (a garage air pump works well).
It is looking a bit dusty... I will have to buy a canister and blow it out.
Or take it to your closest petrol station, where it is free...
Does this only happen with a cold startup? .... meaning the first start for the day when the internal components are all still cold ?
No, this last time it happened when my computer was one, I had dinner and then came back and the screen was off and I couldn't wake it up by moving the mouse.
