want to learn more about pc repair. where can i do this? any advice please thanks

What kind? Hardware, software?

Repairing PC's is the kind of thing you don't really learn any other way than just trying. If you don't know how to solve a specific problem, Google, ask around and keep trying until you figure it out. That's the way most of us here learned, I would say.

Ya I've blown motherboards, CPU's, GPU's, RAM, all in the name of learning whats going on.. And the occasional not making sure it was clipped in properly then powering on and sparks, then smoke!

If you interested, you'll learn by fidling and messing around :) then lots of googling!

But I think there is a hardware course colleges give. It's fairly broad but a good base I think.. It's called A+

I agree with Viva..
And if you want to get into hardware repair , you need spares to troubleshoot problems. You cant for example troubleshoot faulty RAM without spare RAM lying around to try.

The general PC Repair book is the A+ Manual.

As for "repair" in a general software sense , are you looking at operating system support ?
In which case you need to pick an operating system , become familiar with it by fiddling around with it.

The real schooling starts when you get stuff thats already broken and you need to fix it , on the job training , nothing else like it.
No manual can tell you what youre going to see in the real world , you can just take every issue as it comes and research the heck out of it.
yeah best to learn as i get pcs to repair. this is a great forum for information too. which other forums can i use or websites? Thanks

Yep. Don't be like the technician who showed up with a screwdriver but left his google behind :)
