My humble opinion is that In the past few years, the world's biggest security companies have not detected hundreds of millions of possible threats on home and business PCs worldwide but rather wasted enough power, energy and processing power to fund man kind traveling to Mars. Also funded John McAfee's drug habit and deviant behaviour.

Given that this thread is just basically a marketing thread. What I can add to it is that the BEST PC SECURITY you can have is called COMMON SENSE.

Common Sense has no subscriptions, bloat(unless you are fat or have IBS), no performance issues and lastly, it comes for free at birth. While not usable immediately, it has an brain attached to it that learns(hopefully) as it gets older.

And this common sense was created by the Greatest Engineer that exists. HE is the best.
